Location: Puktien Sub -
district , Tha Yang District
, about 22 kilometers away
from the Phetchaburi town.
How to get there: From the
town , go along Rajadamri
Road right into Highway 3177
passing the Rajabhat
Institute of Phetchaburi for
about 13 kilometers, At the
junction on the way to Had
Chao Samran , take the right
turn into the road by the
beach for another 7 km.
Attractions: The beauty of
Puktien is not second to that
of Had Chao Samran with an
approximately equal length
of about 4 km, large,
white and sandy beach. Quite
a number of visitors from
other places and the locals
of Phetchaburi itself like
to come for relaxation
especially at the
weekends , as the water is
nice for a swim. Outstanding
is the large sculpture of the
mermaid on the piles of
rocks in the sea , together
with that of Abhaimanee;
Sudsakhorn, the magic
horse of Ninmangkorn , and
the Rishi (hermit) - the
imagery characters from the
Literature of Abhaimanee, which have become the
symbolic and popular view
for taking picture of this
beach.
Facilities: Seafood
restaurants are plenty on
the beach. Accommodations
are mostly bungalows at
reasonable prices
